Quilting Update for All!
Wow! I can't believe how quickly the Olympics are passing by and how little progress I have made. So I have decided to help myself feel a little better and take a poll. Please post a comment and let us know how you are doing! I promise that the next challenge will have a much longer time table!

I have 2/3 of the blocks for the Hugs and Kisses quilt pieced together. I still need borders and to applique some additional hearts on the top before quilting. I am off to the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Show on Saturday so I have to make some serious progress in the next few days. Wish me luck! Anna
ReplyDeleteAfter many errands and ballgames I have finally gotten Fire Escape cut out. Still need to complete the top and quilt. -Hollie
ReplyDeleteI'm off to buy backing today!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, my progress has been slow. I got the stomach bug on Wednesday so I was down and out for about 3 days. I actually sewed a little last night. I have 29 of 44 rows done. I am hoping to have all rows done and together by Thursday. I hope I get the energy to get by back end in gear to finish. Toni
ReplyDeleteI actually have my challenge top almost done. But the quilt that I am currently quilting is taking A LOT longer then I thought it would and I will be lucky if I get it done this week. But I am going to keep working and hope that after I get all the stich in the ditch done the rest goes a little faster.

I have finally finished piecing my quilt top. I have to add boarders, quilt and bind... We will see if I actually get it completed by Sunday evening... I am going to Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival on Saturday also...
ReplyDeleteThe top of my quilt is pieced and the sandwich is made - now all I have to do is screw up the courage to quilt it!
ReplyDeleteI have the top done and the backing picked out from my stash. I probably have enough batting too in my stash so I need to get the sandwich made and start quilting! With the grandchildren coming to spend the night tomorrow, I'll have to make some progress during the day!
